Welcome to the Institute of Solar Technology
Institute of Solar Technology (IST) is a group of technical and community colleges, non-profit organizations, and invite industry partners who are working together to build solar training capacity in West Bengal.
Our goal is to accelerate market adoption of solar technologies by ensuring that high-quality installations are standard and to create sustainable jobs within the solar installation industry. The Institute of Solar Technology offers solar training and other professional development opportunities.
Within the education fields that are mutually acceptable the following general forms of co-operation will be pursued:
1. Academic visits/Exchange of facility
2. Knowledge Sharing & Transfer.
3. Participation in academic sessions.
4. Create placement opportunity for trained students.
5. Create self-employment opportunity (new enterprise) for trained students.
